Meira Leonard began her journey with photography 17 years ago in the darkroom of her father’s architectural office and has explored many different avenues of the artistic world. She studied at the renowned photographic school, Rochester Institute of Technology, in New York, where she won awards each year, including the Thomas Ward Ball Memorial Award. Her work spans from still-life photography and wedding photography to travel photography, yet with a unique flavor. She has been the primary photographer for the Sophia Peace Center for 6 years, shooting up to 15 weddings a year. She is not just a photographer. Meira is a storyteller.
