The Sophia Peace Center is located on the Mesa above Dolores.
We are 50 minutes northwest of Durango, 1.25 hours southwest of Telluride, and 15 minutes north of Cortez.
From Farmington, New Mexico (Four Corners Regional Airport): 1.75 hrs
Take Airport Drive, Turn Right onto W. Main Street, which becomes US-64,
Take US-64 West to NM-170 (La Plata Hwy)
NM-170 becomes CO-140 once you cross the Colorado/
New Mexico border- (about 43 miles total)
Turn Left in Hesperus on US-160, Go 24 miles to Mancos
Turn Right on Main St “CO 184 towards Dolores” – go 19 miles
Turn Right onto “145 North” – Dolores is 1.6 miles
Turn Left on 11th Street right before the Riverside Gas Station.
11th Street will become County Road 31,
winding to the right and up the mountain- Proceed 1.7 miles.
The Sophia Peace Center is on your left.
From Durango Airport, Colorado: 1 hour, 10min.
From Airport Rd, Turn Left at T-stop- go 6 miles
Turn Left onto “160 West” towards Durango – go 6 miles
In Durango, Turn Left at the sign “160 West: Cortez, Mesa Verde”- go 27 miles
In Mancos, Turn Right on Main St “CO 184 towards Dolores”- go 19 miles
Turn Right onto “145 North” – Dolores is 1.6 miles
Turn Left on 11th Street right before the Riverside Gas Station.
11th Street will become County Road 31,
winding to the right and up the mountain- Proceed 1.7 miles.

From Cortez Airport, Colorado: 25 minutes
From Airport Rd, turn Right at the T- intersection onto CR G.
At the first light, turn Left onto S. Broadway (US-160, 789)
Go 1 to 2 miles, follow road to the right onto W. Main Street
Go through the city of Cortez (about 2 miles)
Turn Left on CO 145 (Dolores Rd) to Dolores – go 10 miles
Turn Left on 11th Street right before the Riverside Gas Station.
11th Street will become County Road 31,
winding to the right and up the mountain- Proceed 1.7 miles.
The Sophia Peace is on your left.
